How To Conduct a Off Hire Survey ?

This sunday not public holiday for me, I can not enjoy the holidays with my family cause have a order job from my good company PT. Carsurin Batam to conduct a Off Hire Survey for vessel Mv. Crest Voyager at Singapore.

This survey appoinment by PT. Pertalahan Arnebatara Natuna, a oil and gas company's in the Natuna, Indonesia. Its commons for oil and gas company at offshore mining use sea transportation for their primary support activities.

Off hire survey will be call for at the finished a charter of this utility vessel,
the purpose is to list the actual condition when this ship's redelivered back to the owner which usually including in part of structure, document and bunker.

The surveyor must visually examine the ship's structure for damage,engine, horse power and all equipments. Check all document provide on board, should be sight all statutory certificates and notes of expires, there are six primary items document as Class Certificate, Safety Equipments Certificate, Safety Radio Certificate, Load Line Certificate, Safety Construction Certificate, International Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate.

Don't forget, a bunker survey must be done, taking care to sound all tanks and correct for temperature and density.
